Who we are
This website is operated by Southside. Contact us through the contact form.
What we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Account: name, email and a securely hashed password.
- Enquiries: the listing, dates, travellers, your message, your contact details, where you heard about us (a channel such as “search”, not a web address) and a record of your consent.
- Saved items and trips you create.
- Newsletter: your email and a record of your consent.
- Contact form messages.
- Anonymous analytics events, only with your consent (see Cookies and analytics).
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange reservations, which includes sharing the necessary details with the provider.
- To run your account, saved items and trips.
- To send the newsletter, only if you opt in. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the service secure.
Who we share it with
The provider you enquire about, and service providers that host the platform and send email on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is open. Open, declined and cancelled enquiries are anonymised when you delete your account.
Records of confirmed and completed bookings may need to be kept for accounting and legal purposes; when you delete your account they are detached from it and kept only for the period required by law.
Your rights
From your account page you can download a copy of your data and delete your account. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
